Seth Hartwell

Voice

Seth Hartwell, tenor, comes to Minnesota with a wide variety of opera, oratoria, and teaching experience. He has performed Baroque oratoria with such groups as VocalEssence, Santa Fe Pro Musica, New Mexico Bach Society, New Mexico Philharmonic, and the Valparaiso University Chorale under the baton of world-renowned Bach scholar Helmuth Rilling. He has also appeared with The Santa Fe Opera, Opera Southwest, Desert Chorale II, Quintessence: Choral Artists of the Southwest, Polyphony Voices of New Mexico, and the Royal Norwegian Opera. Seth has a master's degree in vocal performance from the University of New Mexico and a bachelor's degree in music education from Valparaiso University (Indiana). An Iowa native, Seth is also an alum of the Lutheran Summer Music Program. As a music educator, Seth has taught students of all ages and is passionate about making singing healthy and fun.
